This opportunity is for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist serving K-5th grade students in a school setting. The position is located in Macon, GA, and involves onsite work with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. This role is travel-based, offering the chance to gain diverse experience across different educational environments.
Key responsibilities include evaluating and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children, collaborating with educators and families to support student success, and maintaining accurate documentation for compliance and progress tracking. Caseload details will be determined but will focus on providing high-quality services to young learners.
Preferred qualifications and experience for this role include:
- Valid Georgia Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Experience in school-based speech therapy, specifically with K-5th graders
- Background in pediatrics, healthcare, or teletherapy modalities
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Familiarity with the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) process beneficial
