Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop, implement, and track individualized treatment plans to address students needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning
- Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions that promote student participation and growth
