A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to deliver quality care during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. This short-term assignment runs from July 20th through August 13th, 2026, Monday through Thursday from 8:30am to 12:00pmtotaling 14 hours per week. Located conveniently near Lynn, MA, this role is ideal for professionals seeking a condensed, purposeful commitment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP-CCC credential
- Licensed (or eligible) to practice as an SLP in Massachusetts
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders among elementary-aged students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain timely and accurate records of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings to ensure effective support for each students educational goals
- Provide a positive, encouraging, and inclusive therapy environment
