Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and active Maryland SLP license is required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school settings, including early intervention or K-12 populations, highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Passion for helping children reach their full academic and social potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive support
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress for students on your caseload
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress reporting
- Maintain accurate documentation according to district and regulatory standards
