Make an impact by supporting early learners as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. The focus is on early intervention with an 11-month assignment, providing dedicated services to young children and their families within a supportive educational environment. This role begins August 10th, 2026, and continues through June 17th, 2027, offering a meaningful way to contribute to students communication development throughout the academic year.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Maryland SLP licensure (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in a school setting, especially with early intervention populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEP)
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered therapy
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to early childhood caseload
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and write evaluation reports
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and support staff to ensure continuity of care
- Participate in IEP meetings and document progress towards student goals
- Adapt and tailor interventions to meet students unique needs
- Provide consultative support and training to educators and family members
- Maintain thorough, timely records in compliance with district and state guidelines
