Step into a rewarding full-time opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students as a Speech Language Pathologist. This contract position runs from August 13, 2025, through May 27, 2027, offering stability and the chance to become a valued partner in helping young learners thrive. With a Monday through Friday schedule and 37.5 hours each week, youll have the consistency to build meaningful connections across elementary, middle, and high school settingsyour caseload determined by the needs of the assigned sites.
Candidates must hold an active North Carolina SLP license, but those currently licensed in other states are encouraged to apply if they can secure their North Carolina credentials by June or July. Travel professionals ready to relocate are welcome. Please note: this opportunity is exclusively onsiteremote or virtual placements are not available.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- SLP-CCC required
- Active North Carolina SLP licensure (or ability to obtain by start date)
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services in K-12 settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
- Develop and implement IEPs, conduct evaluations, and maintain thorough documentation
- Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment for all students
