Job Description

This opportunity is for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) seeking an on-site role in a school setting in Lucerne Valley, CA. Serving students from PreK through 12th grade, this full-time contract position involves supporting a caseload with mild to moderate disabilities. The school is transitioning from virtual services and requires dedicated on-site professionals to provide high-quality care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting speech and language evaluations
  • Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Delivering direct and indirect speech therapy services
  • Collaborating with educators and support staff to meet student needs

Qualifications and experience desired:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathology License or California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) certification
  • Experience working in school or pediatric healthcare settings preferred
  • Familiarity with mild to moderate disabilities and caseload management
  • Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) completion or equivalent experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork

Schedule and location details:

  • Full-time, 32.5 to 37.5 hours per week
