Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children as a Speech-Language Pathologist with a rewarding contract opportunity close to Somerville and Lowell, MA. This full-time position focuses on supporting a small group of 6-8 students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a PreK setting. The workday is from 7:45 am to 1:30 pm, providing ample time for collaboration, planning, and fostering young learners communication skills and developmental progress.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Valid (or eligibility for) state SLP licensure and ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP preferred)
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
• Previous work with children on the autism spectrum, especially in early childhood or PreK environments
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for PreK students with ASD
• Deliver direct speech therapy services in an inclusive, child-centered environment
• Collaborate closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to maximize student progress
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with school requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
