This full-time Speech Language Pathologist position offers an exciting opportunity to work onsite in a school setting serving Early Childhood through 8th-grade students. The role focuses on providing direct speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload including PreK, elementary, and middle school populations. This contract position is based in Lowell, MA and is ideal for clinicians passionate about pediatric speech-language pathology within educational environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy for students ranging from PreK to 8th grade
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and licensure standards
- Utilize evidence-based strategies tailored to individual student needs
- Participate in professional development and clinical mentorship programs to enhance clinical skills
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Massachusetts SLP License and DESE Certification
- Experience working with children in educational or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
