Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active Massachusetts SLP license.
  • Prior experience working in a school setting with K-12 students.
  • Bilingual skills are highly preferred and will be valued.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to varying student needs and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders among K-12 students.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address specific student needs.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and staff to monitor progress and ensure consistency in support strategies.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings and develop documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Provide education and in-service training to staff and families as needed.
