Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a school setting in Lowell, MA, offering a contract position through June 30, 2026. This role focuses on providing speech therapy services primarily to elementary students, with a caseload that includes assessments, report writing, direct service delivery, consultations, and collaboration on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Write detailed reports and establish treatment goals
  • Deliver individualized speech therapy services to elementary-aged students
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
  • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts SLP licensure is required
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status preferred
  • School-based experience in speech-language pathology is essential
  • Ability to work onsite full-time (40 hours/week); part-time candidates (20 hours/week) will also be considered
  • Must complete CORI background check and fingerprinting for compliance
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Candidates holding SLP Assistant credentials are not eligible for this role
