A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in an elementary school setting in Lowell, MA. This contract position runs through June 30, 2026, with an immediate start date. The role involves managing an elementary caseload, conducting assessments, writing reports, delivering speech and language services, and collaborating with parents and teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop detailed reports
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
- Write Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and participate in IEP meetings
- Consult with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or be a Clinical Fellow (CF)
- Active Speech-Language Pathology licensure in Massachusetts is required
- Proven school-based experience working with an elementary caseload
- Ability to work onsite exclusively, given the responsibilities of the caseload
- Successful completion of CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) background check and fingerprinting
- No Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will be considered for this role
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time: 40 hours per week or part-time: 20 hours per week, flexibility available
- One opening available
- Position requires onsite presence in Lowell, MA
