Job Description

A reputable school district in Lowell, MA is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time contract position during the school year. This opportunity focuses on providing speech therapy services to elementary students, specifically kindergarten through 4th grade, with a variety of communication disabilities.

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

  • Valid Massachusetts SLP license and DESE certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology (no Clinical Fellows)
  • Recent experience working in school settings preferred
  • Availability for a 37.5-hour workweek during the academic year
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders in a school-based environment

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering individualized speech-language therapy to K-4 students across multiple elementary schools
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs
  • Completing necessary documentation and assessments aligned with DESE requirements
  • Managing a caseload that includes a variety of speech and language disabilities
