Job Description

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or the ability to obtain prior to start
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY applicants considered
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, assess, and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address student needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
  • Maintain thorough documentation of services and progress notes
  • Consult regularly with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Participate in IEP meetings and inform educational planning
  • Adapt therapy strategies for varying student ages and abilities
  • Support student progress toward both educational and therapeutic goals
