Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates considered
- Experience with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Previous background in school environments is highly valued
- Comfort working with diverse student populations, including those with varied communication needs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, both written and verbal
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans and set specific goals in coordination with IEP teams
- Implement evidence-based therapy sessions for students in a variety of age groups
- Maintain thorough documentation to monitor student progress and meet compliance standards
- Facilitate communication between families, faculty, and other allied professionals
- Provide consultative support and recommendations to educators regarding students speech and language needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights to support student progress
