Make an impact working with students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a vibrant school setting near Los Angeles. Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, although strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is valued
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Familiarity with a broad range of speech, language, and communication disorders
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments
- Develop and execute treatment plans tailored to meet student goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure effective service delivery
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations
- Document ongoing progress and maintain records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Offer education and resources to staff and families to promote student success
- Foster an encouraging and inclusive environment for learners of all backgrounds
