Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state license or eligibility for licensure in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, although strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply
  • Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is valued
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Familiarity with a broad range of speech, language, and communication disorders

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments
  • Develop and execute treatment plans tailored to meet student goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure effective service delivery
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations
  • Document ongoing progress and maintain records in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Offer education and resources to staff and families to promote student success
  • Foster an encouraging and inclusive environment for learners of all backgrounds
