Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the current school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Los Angeles, CA. This contract position offers hands-on experience supporting students communication needs onsite, with a caseload beginning as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic interventions for speech, language, and communication disorders in a diverse student population
  • Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborating with educators and families to support student progress
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress in compliance with school policies and state regulations
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate services and ensure effective treatment strategies

Qualifications:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) for Speech-Language Pathologists required
  • Experience in healthcare, pediatrics, school settings, and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) credentials mandatory
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with a passion for working with children and adolescents
