Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year within an elementary school setting in Los Angeles, CA. This contract position spans August 6, 2025, through June 12, 2026, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade with a caseload model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct and indirect therapy services aligned with student IEP goals.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
  • Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in the districts IEP system.
  • Participate in paid team meetings and administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist License (CA SLP License).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred.
  • Experience in pediatric healthcare or school settings.
  • Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) placement or licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Ability to provide therapy in an itinerant model across a caseload within K-12 schools.
  • Willingness to comply with required fingerprinting and district credentialing processes.
