Job Description
Make a direct impact on students communication skills as a Speech Language Pathologist in Texas. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about supporting K-12 learners and equipped with experience in school settings.
In this role, youll work a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, collaborating with students, educators, and families to help every child succeed. Utilize your SLP-CCC certification and Texas licensure to assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based interventions for a diverse student body. Your expertise will contribute to developing communication abilities that set students up for lifelong success.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP-CCC certification
- Current Texas license (TX in RI)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Passion for working with children in grades K-12
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for speech, language, and communication disorders across K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to provide holistic support
- Maintain accurate records for student progress and interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams as needed
- Offer individual and group therapy sessions as appropriate
- Adapt materials and plans to reflect the needs of each student
