Provide expert speech and language support to students across kindergarten through 12th grade in a school setting located in Lorena, Texas. This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a direct impact on students' communication skills and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain detailed therapy documentation and progress reports in compliance with state regulations
- Participate in meetings and consultations regarding student support services
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist certification and licensure (TX in RI) required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience working in school environments with K-12 age groups
- Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively collaborate with staff and families
- Ability to work independently within a structured school schedule
Work Schedule:
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
