Job Description

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Longmont, CO, supporting students primarily within the elementary age group. This full-time contract position offers a dynamic caseload averaging between 25-45 students and provides an excellent pathway to establish a lasting presence within the school district. The role is onsite, Monday through Friday, with a school day schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering individualized speech and language services to students in a school setting.
  • Collaborating with educators and staff to support student communication development.
  • Participating in professional development opportunities allowed and billable by the district.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation to comply with school and legal requirements.
  • Complying with district policies, including background checks and fingerprinting.

Qualifications and experience desired:

  • Active Colorado Department of Education (DOE) Certification.
  • Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License.
  • Ability and willingness to work onsite; remote work is not permitted for this assignment.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children is highly preferred.
  • Commitment to professional growth and school community involvement.

Location: Longmont area, Colorado
Contract duration: Immediate start through May 21, 2026
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours/week
Caseload: Generally ranges from 25-45 students, with professional development days included as paid work time
