Job Description

Providing specialized speech-language pathology services for K-12 students in a dynamic school district serving the Denver area, this full-time role offers the opportunity to impact student success through comprehensive communication support. The position runs from January 7, 2026, through May 21, 2026, with onsite work required Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Candidates must hold active Colorado SLP licensure and Colorado Department of Education certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services within assigned schools, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Manage a caseload typically ranging from 25 to 45 students, tailoring strategies to individual communication needs.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance student progress.
  • Participate in professional development days provided by the district, with four days scheduled in the second semester.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and state requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure.
  • Valid Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification.
  • Proven experience in school-based speech-language therapy preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work onsite within the Denver area throughout the contract duration.

Location: Longmont, Colorado, serving multiple campuses within the school district; exact school assignments will be determined based on district needs.
