Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility, and ASHA CCCs (preferred)
- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, assessments, and intervention techniques
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, families, and educational teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to match student needs
- Document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct and consultative services to students individually and in group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records, document services provided, and comply with school policies
