This role is ideal for professionals skilled in school-based SLP services, including evaluation, direct therapy, collaboration with educators, and possibly teletherapy. Both experienced Speech-Language Pathologists and Clinical Fellows (CFY) with the appropriate credentials are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
- Active California SLP License required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows considered
- Experience with pediatric populations and school-based caseloads
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and providing interventions
- Comfortable using technology for teletherapy sessions, as needed
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to K-5 students, individually and in groups
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans based on student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines
