Located in Long Beach, CA, this opportunity calls for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary school students in a contract role for the current school year (CSY).
Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP License required
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology and working with school-aged children
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) experience welcomed
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to elementary students
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Conduct assessments to identify students' speech and language needs and monitor progress
- Maintain detailed and accurate records in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families regarding student progress
