Job Description

Step into an exciting contract opportunity working with a supportive school community in the Locust Grove, VA area! This full-time position (37.5 hours per week) is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) with a passion for helping K-12 students achieve lasting success. We are seeking three dedicated professionals to provide speech and language services for a diverse caseloadand open to considering Clinical Fellows (CFs) ready to grow their careers in a collaborative educational setting.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP license and eligibility for CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Experience in school settings or a strong desire to work with K-12 students
  • Willingness to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student development
  • New graduates and CFs are encouraged to apply; mentorship and support are available
  • Flexibility to manage assigned caseloads; share your preferences so we can find the best fit
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct speech-language therapy for students
  • Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and goal setting
  • Keep accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
  • Communicate effectively with staff, caregivers, and administrators to support student learning and well-being
  • Foster an inclusive supportive learning environment
