A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services in an educational setting. This role involves traveling to support students in various schools, delivering assessments, individualized therapy, and collaborative care to help improve communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for students of different ages.
- Developing and implementing tailored therapy plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress.
- Maintaining detailed and compliant documentation of services and progress reports.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and providing recommendations for classroom accommodations.
Desired qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license or certification.
- Experience working in school environments preferred.
- Strong ability to engage and motivate children across diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to multiple school locations within the assigned region.
