This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist who excels in working with pediatric populations. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote positive communication outcomes for children, setting them on a path for social and academic success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license, or eligibility for licensure in New York
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience delivering speech therapy in school or pediatric settings
- Skilled in developing age-appropriate therapy plans and IEP documentation
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
- Familiarity with a range of speech, language, and communication disorders in children
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students to determine speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams regarding students progress
- Contribute to the IEP process and participate in meetings as required
- Support inclusion and access to educational opportunities for all students
