Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license and credentials valid in New York
- Prior experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress tracking, and documentation
- Skilled in providing both individual and group therapy sessions
- Clear communication and effective collaboration abilities
- Commitment to creating a supportive, inclusive learning environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess students to identify communication, language, articulation, or social pragmatic challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Conduct engaging therapy sessions across a range of ages and skill levels
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings as appropriate
- Advocate for students needs and provide resources to empower families
