The assignment runs from July 27, 2026, through June 4, 2027, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. You'll play a crucial role in supporting students communication and academic growth throughout the entire school year.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
• Current G License from the NC Department of Public Instruction
• License from the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (optional)
• Experience in school-based SLP work or similar pediatric settings is highly valued
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and oversee speech-language pathology services for students with a variety of communication needs
• Conduct screenings, comprehensive assessments, and diagnostic evaluations as required
• Interpret testing results and consult with parents, teachers, and staff on student needs
• Develop, update, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Advise educators and families on strategies for maximizing student communication and academic success
• Provide direct therapy, document progress, and maintain accurate records in accordance with district and legal policies
