Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to make a meaningful impact in a school setting near Littleton, NC! This contract position runs from July 27, 2026, through June 4, 2027, offering the chance to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) with students, families, and educational teams. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping students achieve their communication goals and unlock their full potential.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Must hold a G License from the NC Department of Public Instruction.
  • License from the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists is a plus.
  • Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and oversee planning for speech-language services in accordance with student needs and Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
  • Perform screening, testing, and diagnosing of speech-language disorders.
  • Advise educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams on strategies to support student progress.
  • Develop and implement effective therapy plans and monitor student outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation as required by school and state guidelines.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school professionals.
