Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
  • Current Colorado Department of Education certification
  • SLP-CCC strongly preferred, though well-qualified SLP-CF candidates are welcome
  • Experience working in school settings with pre-school or early elementary-aged children
  • Solid understanding of the IEP process, including developing and monitoring goals and objectives
  • Familiarity with assessments and delivering therapeutic services
  • Preference for candidates with ELL training and/or an ESL/Linguistically Diverse Education Endorsement

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language services to pre-school students in an intensive classroom setting
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to inform individualized educational plans
  • Collaborate actively with educators, families, and other specialists to create a supportive learning environment
  • Keep detailed records, monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as needed
  • Assist in supervision and support of SLPAs within the program
  • Foster inclusive communication for diverse student populations, integrating ELL/ESL strategies as appropriate
