Job Description
Provide specialized speech-language pathology services in an on-site school setting within the Denver area, focusing predominantly on elementary-aged students. This full-time contract role offers a caseload ranging between 25 and 45 students, allowing for meaningful impact and consistent professional growth within a supportive district environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language evaluations and therapy to students in grades primarily within the elementary age group.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Participate in district-approved Professional Development days, with attendance billable.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state regulations.
- Adhere to all onsite requirements, ensuring face-to-face service delivery to students.
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification.
- Current Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Experience working in school settings preferred, with caseload management skills.
- Ability to complete district-mandated background checks and fingerprinting.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to student-centered care.
Location and Schedule:
- Position is fully onsite within the Denver, Colorado area.
- Full-time hours, Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
- Contract duration from ASAP until May 21, 2026.
- Possible contract renewal for the following school year, allowing for longer-term placement.
