Key qualifications and desired experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates are welcome to apply
  • Experience with pediatric populations or school-based caseloads is advantageous
  • Strong background in delivering SLP services to at-risk or special education students
  • Ability to work collaboratively, manage caseloads, and maintain effective communication with students, staff, and families

Your core responsibilities:

  • Develop daily schedules and coordinate testing with the Special Education Teacher
  • Maintain and update speech and language caseload lists to ensure accurate records
  • Deliver individualized, specially designed instruction through resource room, inclusion, or pullout models
  • Plan and participate in annual IEP meetings, working closely with staff and families to support each students progress and goals
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented educational environment
