Key Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • State of South Carolina SLP license (active or in process)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Ability to satisfy state background checks and fingerprinting before starting
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings valued; flexible clinicians with a strong desire to help students are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments, evaluations, and diagnostic testing for speech and language concerns
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with the school team
  • Deliver direct (individual and group) therapy sessions, document progress, and adjust interventions as students grow
  • Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and team consultations
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student support

Position Highlights

  • Full-time scheduling: 37.5 hours a week through May 25, 2027
  • Serve 12 school sites with a dedicated K12 caseload
  • Indirect (administrative/meeting) hours included as paid time
