Required Qualifications:

  • Valid MN Department of Education SLP license
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Eligibility for or possession of the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or active CFY status
  • Passion for working in school settings with diverse student populations
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Effective communication, organization, and time management abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students speech, language, and communication skills using standardized tools
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) based on assessment outcomes
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation on evaluations, progress, and parent communications
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multi-disciplinary team discussions
  • Offer training, strategies, and support for classroom teachers to enhance student outcomes
