Required Qualifications:
- Valid MN Department of Education SLP license
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Eligibility for or possession of the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or active CFY status
- Passion for working in school settings with diverse student populations
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
- Effective communication, organization, and time management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students speech, language, and communication skills using standardized tools
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) based on assessment outcomes
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation on evaluations, progress, and parent communications
- Participate in IEP meetings and multi-disciplinary team discussions
- Offer training, strategies, and support for classroom teachers to enhance student outcomes
