Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC/CF) serving students in a vibrant school setting near Lithonia, GA. For the upcoming academic year, youll be making a direct impact on student communication and language skills, working onsite and collaborating within a supportive educational team.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Georgia SLP License or GaPSC Certification (one required initially; both will be needed)
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) eligibility
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities
- Dedication to evidence-based therapeutic practices
- Flexible, collaborative approach to working within diverse educational teams
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
- Deliver onsite therapy sessions and consult with other educational professionals
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and timely IEP documentation
- Coordinate and communicate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in case conferences, IEP meetings, and staff development as required
