Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Litchfield, IL. This contract role offers an opportunity to work onsite within a districtwide setting, servicing multiple schools in a compact geographic area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 50-60 students across various grade levels with diverse speech and language disabilities.
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to individual needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student communication goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement for the state of Illinois.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
  • Experience in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy is a plus, though this role is primarily onsite.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Work Schedule:

  • 37.5 hours per week during the normal school year schedule.
  • Contract duration: 2025-2026 school year.
