Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current IL SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates considered
  • Prior experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within a school or educational setting
  • Strong clinical knowledge in assessment, diagnosis, and development of individualized treatment plans for children with communication disorders
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Ability to maintain organized documentation and adhere to all school and state guidelines

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students across varied grade levels
  • Design and implement evidence-based therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, develop IEP goals, and provide regular progress updates
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support generalization of communication strategies in the classroom and at home
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and student progress
