Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings (preferred)
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Comfortable conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and providing direct and indirect therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans within IEP guidelines
- Deliver engaging therapy to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to foster student progress
- Monitor and document student performance, making adjustments to interventions as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and offer expertise for student success
- Stay current on best practices and developments in pediatric speech-language pathology
