Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Current North Carolina SLP license (required)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Comfortable managing a diverse caseload in K-12
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Flexible, collaborative, and student-centered approach

Role Overview:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct speech/language assessments and participate in eligibility determinations
  • Develop treatment goals, implement interventions, and monitor progress
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support students educational performance
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and state compliance paperwork
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and related school-based team activities
  • Deliver therapy and support exclusively onsite; remote/virtual work is not available for this position
