The position offers a full-time schedule throughout the academic year and is based onsite in a vibrant K-12 environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Current North Carolina SLP license (required)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Comfortable managing a diverse caseload in K-12
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Flexible, collaborative, and student-centered approach
Role Overview:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct speech/language assessments and participate in eligibility determinations
- Develop treatment goals, implement interventions, and monitor progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support students educational performance
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and state compliance paperwork
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and related school-based team activities
- Deliver therapy and support exclusively onsite; remote/virtual work is not available for this position
