Job Description

A full-time, travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Liberty, MO, supporting an elementary caseload with students who have high needs. This onsite role offers a dynamic opportunity to provide critical speech and language services in a school setting, supporting student success through targeted interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to elementary students with diverse and high needs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments to identify student needs and measure progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies and procedures
  • Participate in professional development and team meetings as required

Qualifications:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathology license and Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience working in school-based settings as an SLP
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to manage a full caseload and prioritize responsibilities effectively
  • Willingness to provide onsite services in Liberty, MO

Assignment Details:

  • Start date: Between May 6 and May 13, through May 22 (end of the school year)
  • Extended coverage for Extended School Year (ESY) from June 130 (June 19 off for holiday)
  • Coverage needed again at the start of the 202627 school year in August (dates pending finalization)
  • Full-time hours: 37.5 per week
  • Elementary caseload with high-need students
