Job Description

The assignment runs from August 1, 2026, through May 29, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP licensure for the state of South Carolina
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • School-based SLP experience is preferred, but strong new graduates may be considered
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
  • Conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and track student progress
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Document therapies, maintain accurate records, and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Stay up to date with best practices in speech and language interventions
