Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the educational experience of students by providing speech-language pathology services in a rewarding, school-based contract role. This opportunity is based onsite and offers the chance to collaborate with educators and support staff while helping students achieve their communication goals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Licensed and certified SLP with ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred
  • Understanding of IEP process and compliance requirements
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of communication disorders in children and adolescents
  • Strong communication skills for working with students, teachers, and families
  • Commitment to providing inclusive and culturally competent care for diverse school populations

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and ongoing assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Document progress, attend IEP meetings, and collaborate with the educational team
  • Provide direct therapy, consultation, and support within the educational environment
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and district policies and requirements

This contract position allows you to focus on direct interaction with students and meaningful contributions to their educational growth. Hours average 35 per week throughout the academic year. More information about the caseload will be available soon.
