This role is based near the dynamic Lexington, NC area, with most placements concentrated in the welcoming communities of the eastern and southern parts of Davidson County. Qualifications:

  • Active NC licensure as an SLP (SLP-CF accepted; district supervision available)
  • Experience (preferred) with autism and low cognitive disabilities in school settings
  • Ability to commit to a full-time schedule (3537.5 hours/week) for the school year: 8/12/266/11/27
  • Willingness to discuss and manage a caseload of up to 35 students
  • SLPA credentials not accepted for this assignment

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language services to students as part of a collaborative educational team
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain thorough documentation and communicate regularly with teachers and families
  • Engage in ongoing professional growth through district-provided supervision and support
