Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students in a vibrant North Carolina district. Full-time speech-language pathologist roles are available, working primarily in the east or southern regions of the area. Work closely with dedicated educators and families while helping students achieve communication success throughout the 2026-2027 school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Holds a current SLP license valid in North Carolina
- SLP-CF candidates are welcome (district-provided supervision available)
- SLP-CCC with schools-based experience strongly preferred
- Experience supporting students with Autism (AU) and low cognitive disabilities is especially valued
- Comfortable with a max caseload of up to 35 students
- Available for a full-time contract schedule, approximately 35-37.5 hours weekly
- Must be able to commit to the school year: August 12, 2026 June 11, 2027
- Please note: SLPA credentials are not being considered at this time
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy for eligible students in educational settings
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy interventions
- Document student progress and collaborate with district teams and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on communication goals
- Foster meaningful communication for students with diverse abilities
- Balance a dynamic caseload, with specifics tailored to your skillset and preference, discussed during interview
