Job Description
Make a meaningful impact as a Speech Language Pathologist, supporting school-aged children in a welcoming and collaborative educational environment located near Lexington, NC. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with a supportive staff, providing speech, language, and communication interventions in a well-structured setting.
Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina SLP License
- North Carolina Teaching Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based speech pathology highly desirable
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Perform speech and language evaluations, document findings, and develop targeted intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students academic and social communication goals
- Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress, and required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and serve as a resource for language and communication development
