This opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathologist providing services within a K-12 school setting in Lexington, NC. The position offers a contract duration covering the school year, with options for full-time or part-time hours. You will primarily serve an elementary caseload, working onsite to support students speech and language development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students across elementary grades
- Evaluate, assess, and diagnose speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with state regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist License required
- Credentials may include SLP-CFY or SLP-CCC certification preferred
- Experience in school-based speech therapy and familiarity with K-12 speech caseloads
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration
