Your background and expertise include:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Texas
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
- Effective communication and case management abilities
- Compassion for students and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
Key responsibilities youll enjoy:
- Evaluate students to determine speech, language, voice, and fluency issues
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions in school settings
- Work alongside teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district guidelines
