Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Texas
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students, following IEP goals and district processes
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain thorough documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to maximize student success
  • Maintain regular communication with families and staff regarding student progress
  • Stay current on best practices and state guidelines for school-based SLP services
