This onsite contract opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, with multiple openings across grade levels and caseloads to be determined. Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Texas
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students, following IEP goals and district processes
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to maximize student success
- Maintain regular communication with families and staff regarding student progress
- Stay current on best practices and state guidelines for school-based SLP services
