This flexible, contract position is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required) ready to make a positive difference during summer compensatory services. Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Active SLP license for the state of Texas
- Experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Comfortable and flexible working with students of any grade level
- Ability to work onsite as needed (remote/voco positions unavailable)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Adaptable to varying caseloads and schedules
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver compensatory speech-language services across multiple grade levels, as determined by district need
- Utilize evidence-based practices to assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans
- Document progress and maintain thorough records for each student
- Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
- Remain flexible with on-site assignment locations within the district as needed
What You Can Anticipate:
This is a contract assignment for summer school sessions on the following dates: 6/16-6/18, 6/23-6/25, 7/7-7/9, and 7/14-7/16 (Tuesday through Thursday schedule). Hours and caseloads will vary and are expected to be determined as the district finalizes student needs. Multiple positions are projected.
