Make a meaningful difference in a students educational journey by providing speech-language support in a welcoming high school setting on a contract basis. Youll work part-time with a high school student (age 15), dedicated to delivering 45 minutes of targeted speech-language intervention per week. Utilize your PROMPT certification and professional expertise to help support communication goals and make a lasting impact.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and valid Maine State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- PROMPT certification is required
- Prior experience in a high school or K-12 setting is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of an IEP team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualized speech-language therapy sessions, focusing on a 15-year-old high school student
- Collaborate with the IEP team to develop and implement targeted intervention plans
- Complete all documentation and progress tracking in accordance with district requirements
- Attend meetings remotely as needed and coordinate scheduling with school personnel
- Maintain a professional and supportive environment that encourages student progress
