Key Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Maine
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly within school or preschool settings
  • Understanding of school-based speech and language services, including assessment, IEP development, and therapy delivery
  • Strong collaboration skills to partner with educators, families, and related service professionals
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality speech and language therapy to preschool-aged students
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals within a collaborative IEP framework
  • Conduct thorough assessments and progress monitoring to ensure student growth
  • Consult with teachers and caregivers, offering strategies to generalize communication skills
