Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Pennsylvania
- Previous experience in a pediatric or school-based setting highly desirable
- Knowledge of assessment tools, IEP processes, and best practices in pediatric speech therapy
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational teams
- Dedication to fostering student growth and providing individualized support
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments to students across various grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social communication needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to promote educational success
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to multi-disciplinary planning, and maintain accurate documentation
- Offer resources and strategies to classroom staff to support generalization of skills
- Monitor student progress, modify interventions as necessary, and maintain compliance with all state and federal requirements
