This full-time contract role offers two engaging caseloads: an Early Intervention focus in an 11-month position, or a dynamic K-12 setting. Both openings are conveniently located in the Leonardtown, MD area, ready for you to begin impacting students starting August 10th, 2026 through June 17th, 2027.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) License required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Previous experience in early intervention or school-based settings highly valued
- Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering communication development in diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students communication abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to meet IEP goals
- Maintain thorough and organized records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities
- Communicate regularly with staff and families in support of student outcomes
- Adapt services to virtual or in-person formats as needed
